The Empress Theatre has been Vallejo's home for arts and entertainment since 1912. With its recent multi-million dollar restoration and renovation, it retains its classic ellegance and opulence and has become a state-of-the-art independent film house and performing arts cetner seating 470. The Empress is operated and managed by the Vallejo Community Arts Foundation, Inc--a California nonprofit public benefit corporation.
