about
Johnny Brenda’s is a bar, restaurant, and music venue located in the Fishtown section of Philadelphia. The building dates from the late 19th century, and while the performance space has been completely redesigned, it maintains the feel of an elegant, iconic historical social hall with design elements reminiscent of a turn of the century burlesque club or theater.
Featuring a world-class sound system, and a balcony (a rarity for a room it’s size), it is unlike any performance space in Philadelphia, and quite possibly the country.

Love this gem in Fishtown and the variety of band they host. Nice menu friendly staff and great service too.

Well, I think this place attracts too many skinny super straight boys who think they are the cat's meow. These guys are so uptight and so straight you think you are in Oklahoma or Kansas. They need a good boning by a drag queen or…

Delicious foods, drinks and a really good atmosphere. Haven't been there in a while but i will return real soon. Live music tends to be really great! Trendy people hang out there -so plan on trying to be cool like them
