This was a cute movie; however, it was kind of sad for a kids movie. It was quite different and had some cute and funny parts in it.

Much like everyone else so far, I loved this movie. Incredibly well done, and it's nice to see a little change in direction from Pixar. All of their films are nostalgia trips to some extent, but this is from a different and appreciated angle.

Loved it,loved it, loved it! It had a great story about life and relationships. So funny. As a grandma it will be on my shelf! Bonus the cartoon before was excellent! Not one word said but everyone was laughing out loud.

A movie with a heartwarming story peppered with close-share situations and funny moments. The 3D technology has improved tremendously since 20 years ago. There is no foul language or sexual innuendos. A good wholesome movie for families.

Be prepared to spend half an hour bawling your eyes out.
The first chunk of this movie was the most incredibly bittersweet thing I've ever seen in a cartoon. It was beautiful, expertly and succinctly developing Carl's character into a man you can sympathize with and care about. Which makes it funnier when you realize how deeply rooted his mission is in his psyche - and how frustrated he must be to be continually sidetracked from his quest.
When you get down to it, this is a movie about fulfilling your dreams. Carl's journey is central to the plot, but so is that of his Hero - a long lost adventurer whose dreams have turned into Ahabesque madness. Caught in the middle is Russell, whose only desire is to have a father figure who will bother to show up for him.
Anyway, I felt all the characters were enjoyable in their own way, and I definitely will be watching this film again. Pixar once again has made an incredible movie.
p.s. Whoever was in charge of canine body language & dialogue hit it right on the (wet) nose. The dogs are one of the best parts of an already amazing movie.

I loved watching Up! The story was funny, emotional, and even inspirational. I didn't notice a lot of 3-D action, but I liked the characters and the story anyway!
The movie was so touching, in some parts of the movie I was actually tearing up :'(. The beginning section of the movie has barely any dialog and yet there was a big story behind it that was understood through the actions of each character. I'm was impressed!
