This event will be held at Whitehall House & Gardens on September 23, 2010 from 7pm-10pm. ... Highlights of this event include: -Four Local bands performing acoustic sets on a main entertainment stage -Tasting stations set up around the main tent with food from local restaurants and caterers -A wine garden with sampling stations circling a beautiful water feature! -A beer garden nestled behind the formal gardens offering samples from local breweries. -Musicians, artists & entertainers set up throughout the garden areas -Informational and interactive booths mingled in the dining area & gardens -Kegerator art contest - Local artist are creating custom kegerators that will be raffled off during the event. Tickets are $25 each or $45 for a couple (Price includes samples from dozens of wine, beer & food vendors!) Ico promotes interpersonal skills and self-esteem by involving participants in teamwork, teaching them self-reliance outside an urban setting, creating opportunities for personal growth and development by linking participants from different cultures, providing participants with outdoor skills training and leadership opportunities and encouraging them to take an active role in protecting the environment. As its participants discover the beauty of wild lands, Ico also helps the Club build support for environmental protection in urban communities across the country.
