overview

On the lush alien world of Pandora live the Na'vi, beings who appear primitive but are highly evolved. Because the planet's environment is poisonous, human/Na'vi hybrids, called Avatars, must link to human minds to allow for free movement on Pandora. Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a paralyzed former Marine, becomes mobile again through one such Avatar and falls in love with a Na'vi woman (Zoe Saldana). As a bond with her grows, he is drawn into a battle for the survival of her world.

you know exactly what you are watching the movie for and thats the graphics. the storyline is nothing new. the movie did not blow me away by any means but simply for aesthetic purposes the cinematography was amazing. for dollar theater prices i would say see it

Excellent eye candy. The storyline is "Fern Gully" meets "Dances With Wolves" with a little bit of "Star Wars", which leaves something to be desired. A stronger plot/story would have made it a 5 star movie.

The graphics for this movie are awesome...no doubt about it. The story line? Dull and predictable. I'm glad I saw it in the theater because of the graphics, but otherwise, I would have been content to watch this one on dvd at home and fall asleep on the couch half way through.
