Great theatre in Greenville is found at Centre Stage
I love all of the theatres in town, but my favorite, by far, is Centre Stage. Their productions are consistently solid, yet it's not the stuffy old theatre my grandparents went to see. I've been going for about two years now, and while I haven't seen every show they've done, I do make most of them. Their recent productions of Sylvia and Crimes of the Heart were as good as any I've seen Off-Broadway. I also think it's great that they collaborate with other arts organizations in town. It's right behind the Peace Center, so it's very easy to get to. We usually walk there after a nice dinner in the area.
