Think Del Mar isn't your scene? Think again! Cool As Ever Tech
(#coolasever) is bringing together Southern California’s web/tech elite
(that's you!) for an unparalleled interactive event August 14th, 2010 from
noon to 6 p.m.
Hosted by the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club,
the expansive Seaside Tropical Cabana will be the stage for all your
Qiks, phone pics and OH's (in case you didn't read that correctly,
we'll be taking over the very VIP area at Del Mar, no cheap seats for
us). Located trackside on the home stretch, we'll be on an elevated
platform for catching all the live racing action and have exclusive bar
and catering. You'll eat, drink and tweet like a celebrity while taking
in the excitement of the Del Mar horse races.
Currently in its
71st season, the Del Mar Racetrack has a deep history with Hollywood.
From the early years as the celeb haven for founder Bing Crosby and his
friends, to more recently as the featured backdrop or focus of many
popular TV shows like HBO’s Entourage and ABC’s The Bachelor.
Though
we'll be rubbing elbows with the caviar crowd, you can bet we haven't
forgotten our roots. Expect real-time Twitter walls and gadgets,
goodies, and giveaways that will make the geek in you scream with
delight! 
Each person in attendance needs to register their full name with EventBrite in order to be on the event RSVP list. There are no +1's so please register for your friend or spouse or have them register. Tickets include:

Where to pick up Registered tickets: When
you arrive at the track, park and walk towards the ticketing
booths. Pass will call, turf club and clubhouse entrance and walk
toward the stretch run entrance. Just before the stretchrun gates, on the right hand
side will be a fountain, along with a check in table for Cool As Ever Tech.
