about
Be ready to expect the unexpected on August 17th, 2007 when you enter Buffalo's newest restaurant, Duo! Buffalo native and well known designer, Paul LaMorticella of PLM Interior Design, is ready to make every patron fell like they're on the "red carpet" as they enter this spicy, sexy, down home comfort food Brasserie. Paul describes Duo as total, glowful energy this spicy; minute the valet parks your car. LaMorticella will make Duo the most "in style" restaurant/bar/club in town, with prices to keep the customers "in style". The brasserie fare includes wood fired pizzas, deep bowl pastas (like your grandma used to make), steaks, lobster, and on site baked breads to feed the entire table. How about an order of dessert…homemade biscotti, cookies, and old world sheet cake. Duo will also take local restaurant life to the next level with an after hours club atmosphere. Specialty late nights will include "The Little Black Dress" night, Salsa/Samba dancing night, Jazz night and fantastic DJ's always spinning tunes, as DUO makes a statement to the Buffalo bar/club scene. Late night diners should expect tables turned and music and dancing to compliment their dessert. Duo's two bars and fantastic patio are sure to keep Buffalo's late nights rocking. Duo is also excited to offer a prix fixe theater menu, lunch, dinner, Sunday Brunch and a special downtown lunch delivery service. Can you imagine a "loaf sandwich" to feed 5 in your office? Duo has taken space at the former Brownstone Bistro at 297 Franklin St, Buffalo, NY. Now with LaMorticella's touch, the ambience is soft, sexy and pure with white as a staple throughout the entire restaurant. From the servers, hosts, Chefs, valet and management, white and airy will be profound. Paul's design expertise has been seen throughout the country and now his talent will enlighten every person who walks through Duo's doors.
