Lacrosse - Boys - Grades 5 & 6

Lacrosse ? For grades 5 - 8 Boys and girls at this level will have their own teams. The league will once again focus on skill development, throwing, catching cradling and shooting. Games will be scheduled with surrounding area towns, so be prepared to travel. This program requires a major commitment of time. A typical week will include at least 2 practices and a 10 ? 12 game season. This program will not be limited this year, however, it is still necessary to register before the deadline date. With that in mind, volunteer coaches and assistants are needed. No experience is necessary, as we will be offering a coaches training clinic to teach new volunteers the basics of the game. Please consider volunteering your time?.Give us a call!
Boys will need to bring a helmet, arm and shoulder pads, athletic supporter, stick, gloves and mouth guard.
Girls will need goggles mouth guards, gloves and a stick.
Shirts, balls and goalie equipment will be provided for all levels of play. The Coaches Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 19th at 5:00 pm at the Parks and Recreation Office at Grant House. Email addresses are requested at the time of registration, to help in our communication with you concerning changes in practices or schedules, due to inclement weather.
