Yakima Symphony Orchestra: Night Of Tragedy & Triumph
A spectacular finish to a spectacular season! Mussorgsky’s classic tone poem on a “mountainous” theme is paired with a symphony inspired by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens by Armenian-American composer Alan Hovhaness. Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy is a unique work for virtuoso solo piano, chorus and orchestra.
