Yakima Symphony Orchestra: Night Of Tragedy & Triumph
A spectacular finish to a spectacular season! Mussorgsky’s classic tone poem on a “mountainous” theme is paired with a symphony inspired by the eruption of Mt. St. Helens by Armenian-American composer Alan Hovhaness. Beethoven’s Choral Fantasy is a unique work for virtuoso solo piano, chorus and orchestra. To close out the 2012-13 Season is another spectacular work for Chorus and Orchestra from Verdi’s Opera Aida! Tickets: 509-853-ARTS or 877-330-ARTS or online at www.ticketswest.rdln.com.
