ABAYA AND BEYOND
YAKIMA, WA: From January 11-March 9, 2013, the Larson Gallery will exhibit the works of Dr. Yvonne Pepin-Wakefield with opening reception on Friday, January 11, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Dr. Pepin-Wakefield taught art at Kuwait University's College and her work illustrates her fascination with the traditional dress Kuwait women. On February 13, 2013, at 7pm, Dr. Pepin-Wakefield will share her work, and her book "Suitcase Filled with Nails" in a public lecture on the YVCC campus.
