Torathon: A Journey into Jewish Life and Learning
The Torathon consists of many sessions of music, lectures, and discussions about topics in modern Jewish life. There will be three sessions, lasting 50 minutes each, plus dessert and a social gathering at the end. There will be light dairy refreshments during the evening. Some of the topics include Sephardic music, Woody Allen, Mideast politics, and calligraphy. Besides local experts, there will be presentations by national figures such as a speaker from the ADL (Anti-Defamation League).
