Qualitative Inquiry: Teaching and Learning Across Disciplines
This didactic session will focus upon defining attributes, philosophical foundations and sampling and design features distinctive to qualitative inquiry. Participants will be provided the opportunity to compare two methodological approaches commonly used in the practice disciplines: qualitative description and grounded theory. Additionally, the contribution of qualitative inquiry to evidence-based practice and practice-based evidence will be outlined.
