In observation of the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Civil Rights Act, CAM in collaboration with Countywide Community Development Corp.of Navassa, NC presents the exhibition School Pride: The Eastern NC Story June 29 - November 2, 2014. Nationally renowned artist Willie Cole is creating new installations investigating the closing of sixteen Cape Fear area schools and other aspects of desegregation in southeastern NC and its impact statewide.
