Plastics in our Creeks and Sounds

Kids ages 8 and up can learn how oysters act as filters for plastics and other pollutants in coastal waters at this fun, interactive environmental program. The presenter is Ted Wilgis, Coastal Education Coordinator for the NC Coastal Federation. This free program is presented by the Friends of the Library as part of their 2014 Spring Speakers Series. Space is limited-please pre-register on the library's online calendar.
