We Are Proud to Present a Presentation About the Herero of Namibia, Formerly Known as Southwest Africa, From the German Sudwesta
Ever wonder what it would be like to be in the rehearsal room when actors are mining their psyches or arguing over a character’s motivation? This play is about a group of actors exploring, devising, and rehearsing a production about what has been called the first genocide of the 20th century. The play is set in a theatre and a rehearsal room and it looks improvisatory but it’s all scripted. Ironically, it’s very funny but as we know, many comedies are dead serious.
