PERFORMANCE: Theatre, Culture, and Community “Social Graffiti”
This performance reflects the work of students in UNCW's theatre department who are studying the practice of devising theatre; choosing a theme that reflects an important problem in the world with powerful consequences on students’ lives, they create short performance pieces that are woven together into an artistically engaging “performance text” with music, dance, and drama. The struggle for human rights in personal, national, and international contexts will be the focus of each piece.
