Conducted by Joe Hickman, UNCW Chamber Choir and NC Baroque Orchestra presents one of Bach's msaterworks - the St. John Passion. The orchestra performs on baroque instruments, and the choir is joined by guests Ronald Holmes and John Callison. Intimate, intense, and emotionally resonant, the oratorio is presented here as a collaborative and historically informed performance. The concert is a fundraiser for music department, with proceeds benefitting scholarships for music students.
