: Chelsea High Line restoration in New York City has received design accolades. Its sleek lines and lush plantings have dazzled millions. Longwood Graduate Fellow, Ashby Leavell researched abandoned railways in various stages of conversion into parkland and showcases four post-industrial gardens: High Line, Philadelphia’s Reading Viaduct, Paris’ Promenade Plantée, and Natur Park Südgelände in Berlin, with striking images and lessons learned. Winter Lecture Series also February 6, 20 and 27.
