The Holden Arboretum connects people with nature for inspiration and enjoyment, fosters learning and promotes conservation. Albert Fairchild Holden established the arboretum in memory of his deceased daughter, Elizabeth Davis. He provided that funds be designated for an arboretum after a life interest for his 2 living daughters, Emery May and Katharine Davis. He died in 1913. Located by Kirtland-Chardon Rd.
