But Hoke wins her over, and during the 25-year span of the play the two develop a deep-rooted affection. Alfred Uhry'Pulitzer Prize winning play is a story of two outsiders who come to a mutual respect based on their independence, strength, and stubborn integrity. Starring Gina Austin as Daisy Werthan.
