Learning to See: Josef Albers and the Interaction of Color
In 1963, Albers published The Interaction of Color, a book that has been reprinted countless times and continues to be a
staple in art and design classes. Forty years after its first issue, the Wichita Art Museum presents this modest exhibition with selections from the permanent collection to mark Albers' ingenuity and influence. Abstract works in exuberant color by Albers as well as by Max Bill, Ilya Bolotowsky, and Richard Anuszkiewicz, are included in the installation.
