Chip Osborne is a nationally recognized leader in Organic Lawn Care, a professional horticulturist with forty years experience in the green industry. He is also a ten-year elected member of the Town of Marblehead MA Recreation and Park Commission where he developed an organic management program for parks and athletic fields in 2001 in response to a Board of Health mandate that the town eliminate the use of pesticides and synthetic fertilizers. In 2007 he founded Osborne Organics, a company that provides natural turf consulting services to business, municipal, and institutional clients. A major focus of the business is providing education in the area of natural turf management. Chip developed A Systems Approach to Natural Turf Management(R) as a method of maintaining turf without the use of toxic chemicals.
