Opening Reception - Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: The Exhibition by Carlton Ward Jr.
In 2012, photographer and explorer, Carlton Ward Jr. led a small team through a 100 day, 1000 mile trek -- traveling by kayak, mountain bike, horse & by foot -- from Everglades National Park north to Okefenokee National Wildlife Refuge in southern Georgia. The exhibition is the legacy of that journey. 50 large photographs & maps document the landscape, flora & fauna of Florida’s interior and illustrates the interconnected, natural corridor that needs protection for wildlife & future generations
