Florida Stage

Florida Stage is the nation's premiere professional theatre company dedicated to producing exclusively new and developing plays and musicals. The theatre, housed in an intimate 255-seat space in its new home at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts, was founded in 1985. Over the past two decades, the company has provided an artistic home to such luminaries as Nilo Cruz, Lee Blessing, Bill Mastrosimone, Israel Horovitz and John Guare, as well as the new voices of the theatre. Approaching its 25th Anniversary Season, Florida Stage has produced more than 100 world premiere plays and musicals that now represent the new canon of American theatre.
