Connecting to the Cosmos: Amateur Astronomy for the Winter Sky

On a clear, moonless night, you can see stellar nurseries, glowing galaxies, and dazzling star clusters with inexpensive instruments - if you know how and where to look! In this two-hour workshop, we'll alternate between slide shows, hands-on activities, and - weather permitting - guided tours of the glorious winter sky (joined this year by the king of the planets, Jupiter).
