Wednesday, Sep 18, 2013 7:00p to 8:45p
Wellesley Free Library Wellesley, MA

Every new novel by Alice McDermott is highly anticipated. The publication of Someone is especially exciting as it marks McDermott's extraordinary return, seven years after the publication of After This. For her 1998 novel Charming Billy, McDermott won an American Book Award and the U.S. National Book Award for Fiction. She is Johns Hopkins University's Richard A. Macksey Professor of the Humanities. Free and open to the public. Co-sponsored by Wellesley Books.
