With a grand expansion and renovation project opened in November 2002, Artsblock marks a new era for Wausau's cultural and community life. Beyond their outstanding environment for live performance, all spaces are available for rental for your family, social, or corporate event.

Since Thanksgiving Day of 1927, the passion of drama, the grace of dance and the power of music have come alive within the walls of the Grand Theater. Artsblock has expanded the arts housed in the Grand Theater to include the Great Hall, the B.A. & Esther Greenheck Lounge, the Caroline S. Mark Gallery and the Loft.

But Artsblock is just one way the Wausau Area Performing Arts Foundation makes our community vital and vibrant. Since 1972, the Performing Arts Foundation has been working to promote excellence in the performing arts in North Central Wisconsin, reaching over 150,000 people each year with performances and instructional programs, including:

* 25,000 people through our Lively Arts Series
* 20,000 school children through the Horizon Series
* 5,000 children and educators through the Artists-in-the-Schools program
* 60,000 people through our affiliates
* 46,000 people through the use of Artsblock for rental opportunities either for business, theater performances or personal use

Your tax-deductible gift to the Performing Arts Fund Drive allows us to:

* Maintain Artsblock as a resource for the entire region
* Provide support services and technical assistance to community groups including the Arts Affiliates (Allegro Dance Theater, Central WI Children's Theater, Wausau Community Theater, Wausau Lyric Choir, Wausau Symphony & Band, & Wausau Dance Theater).
* Work with educators through such programs as Artists-in-the-Schools, Kennedy Center Partners in Education, and the Horizon Series
