This exhibition reflects o n the legacy of the Berlin Wall in American culture in the past and today. During the Cold War, the Berlin Wall was the world's most notorious line of division. The fortified city border not only separated East and West (Germany), but also surrounded the allied sectors of West Berlin, including its American sector.
