Winner of the Teddy Award for Best Documentary at the 2007 Berlin Film Festival; the New York Loves Film Award at the 2007 Tribeca Film Festival, Special Jury Prize at the 2007 Chicago International Festival, A Walk into the Sea represents documentary filmmaking at its finest. To filmmaker and director Esther Robinson, this film represents a personal inquiry into the truth behind her uncle Danny Williams' mysterious 1966 disappearance. The discovery of 20 never-before-seen films Williams made during his time at the Factory launched Robinson's investigation into her uncle's work and life, which resulted in this highly accomplished and personal film. Ms. Robinson discusses her work and film following the screening. A Walk into the Sea is distributed by Arthouse Films.
