Waltham Land Trust Annual Duck Walk

Bring your binoculars and check out the beautiful waterfowl that visit the Charles River each winter. On this very popular walk along the pathways and viewing docks of the river, expert birders will point out common and regular mergansers, ring neck and golden eye ducks, coots, and other birds. Last year we saw everything, including an American bald eagle! Participants must stay quiet so as not to spook our avian friends. Meet in the back corner of the Shaw's parking lot and bring binoculars.
