Local Author Talk: Glynn Custred

Tuesday, Jan 8 6:30p
Ygnacio Valley Library Walnut Creek, CA

What is it about ghost stories? Why do people love them so much?

Local author Glynn Custred will examine this subject and discuss the roles that ghost stories play in the human experience. He will use his own writings to explore this interesting subject.

Custred is professor emeritus at CSU East Bay and has taught courses on folklore and folk beliefs. Custred's work shows us how powerfully ancient myths, legends, and folklore affect our rational world.
