Whole Hog Butchery Class at The Fire Pit
Join us at The Fire Pit for a fascinating hands-on insight into hog butchery. Chef Andrew Forster walks us through the common (and less common) cuts of meat from snout to trotters. We'll sample some of The Fire Pit's delicious pork dishes and hear how they are prepared from the different parts of the animal. Andrew also demonstrates the traditional techniques of 'larding and barding' and each guest takes home their own larding needle.
