Historic Wake Forest Cemetery Walking Tour

The annual self-guided tour features docents at family plots with photos and artifacts, representatives in Confederate uniforms who share histories about Civil War soldiers and ladies in period costumes. The Junior ROTC will appear as color guard in an opening ceremony. There will be a special activity designed for interaction between a child and their parents or accompanying adult. This historic cemetery - first marked grave is 1837 - was originally set aside by Wake Forest College.
