Enjoy your summer nights with entertainment at the beautiful and intimate setting of the Sandy Amphitheater. Located at the base of the Wasatch Mountains overlooking the Salt Lake Valley the view is truly breathtaking as the sun sets in the west and the moon rises above the mountains in the east.
Completed in 1999, The Sandy Amphitheater boasts a capacity of 3,000. 966 theater seats close to the stage give audiences proximity to performers, while over 2,000 lawn seats on the hill (with designated lawn chair and blanket areas) allow patrons to relax a bit more while watching a show with a picnic dinner if desired. Either way, there’s plenty of legroom and spectacular mountain and valley views.
The Amphitheater is wheelchair accessible, and for any additional ADA accommodations please call the Amphitheater box office. From the parking lot to the gates the path displays beautiful landscaping. In addition, the ticket prices are a great value. Lawn seating for some shows begin at just $5 per person, with premium seating beginning at $10. Remember, prices vary according to the event. Many also offer discounts for children under 12 and senior citizens. Tickets are available in advance at any Smith'sTix location, by calling 1-800-888-TIXX, (801) 568-ARTS, on-line or at the Amphitheater Box Office which opens at 6:00 PM on the night of shows only and remains open until intermission. The gates open one-hour before performances begin.
