Where: The Brautigan Library, Clark County Historical Museum, 1511 Main Street, Vancouver, WA (360) 993-5679. Cost: US $75.00 registration fee for each participant. Sorry, but no funds are available for honorariums, registration, transportation, meals, lodging, shipping of artwork. We are hoping to provide for the opening night reception, coffee during the unconference, and the first glass of wine at the closing gathering. Agenda: 9:00 AM 12 noon (PST)- Morning discussions 12 noon-1:00 PM- Lunch… Show more on own 1:00-5:00 PM (PST)- Afternoon discussions, concurrent art show at Nouspace Gallery 5:00-7:00 PM- Dinner on own. 7:00 PM- Informal gathering at Nouspace Gallery; film/video showings, readings/performances; gathering at Niche Wine Bar. No top-down organization. No formal sessions. Instead, a participant-driven meeting. Participants collaboratively create an agenda of open discussions. Anyone interested can discuss the impact and legacy of Brautigan, each contributing from their personal connection: scholarly, friend, family, fan. Attendees may decide to break into various discussion groups or conduct a large group discussion.
