How does his longing affect our view of Brautigan, his works, and place in world literature? This question provides a focus for an unconference offering opportunities for sharing scholarship, a creative diddy-wah of works inspired by or responding to Brautigan, and (Inter)National Writer's Day, an annual celebration of the often overlooked voices of unpublished writers around the world, all during the last weekend in January, in celebration of Brautigan's birthday.
