Under One Umbrella Laksa Dinner Fundraiser

Join the Under One Umbrella Society, friends and neighbours for a traditional Malaysian Laksa Dinner Fundraiser for the 2013 Homeless Connect Event. Dinner will be held at The Kettle Friendship Society (1725 Venables St.) on Saturday March 2, 2013.
Cost: $25.00, please register you and your guests. Cash payment on the day of the event, thank you!
Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner at 6:30. Entertainment and readings from Voices from Grandview Woodland .

Under One Umbrella Homeless Connect will take place on Saturday March 16, 2013 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Maritime Labour Centre at 1880 Triumph St.
The event offer people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless, to learn about what services are available and connect with community.  Guests are invited to take the opportunity to enjoy local entertainment and healthy and nutritious food while connecting with vital services like health care, addictions and mental health resources, income assistance and help with housing. There will also be bike repair, stuff for pets, haircuts and much more. All for free!
Your contribution will go directly into supporting the event.  Â
