First openend in 1938, the RIO theatre returns as a landmark theatre in the heart of Vancouver's Commercial Drive. The RIO is a single-screen theatre with 20 speaker dolby surround sound and the most comfortable seats in Vancouver. 1660 E. Broadway (Commercial & Broadway).
RIO is accessible by SkyTrain, just steps from the Broadway and Commercial Stations. We are located on the Southwest corner next to the Bank of Montreal.
Buses that stop at the Broadway and Commercial intersection are #20-Victoria Street, #9-Broadway and the #99 B-line servicing UBC and SFU.
