Jake's Gift is a powerful comedy-drama about a cantankerous WWII veteran who reluctantly returns to Juno Beach for the 60th Anniversary of D-Day. While there, Jake meets a precocious 10-year-old local girl named Isabelle, whose inquisitive nature and charm challenges the old veteran to confront some long ignored ghosts. This one-woman show has toured to the UNO Festival of Solo Performance, the Toronto Fringe Festival, the Sunset Theatre, and the Victoria Fringe Festival where it received awards for Best Drama, Best Solo Show, Best Female Performer and Best New Play.
