I had seen the dealfind two dozen times over the last couple years, and figured gosh it must be really bad, so I avoided it. Finally I decided to try it out. When I got there, I walked into this charming but cluttered store. An amazing reference of books and gems and a wide array of services. The clerk wreaked of cigarette smoke and gave me attitude when I presented the dealfind. When I asked where the change rooms were I discovered I had to change in these tiny claustrophobic washrooms...old, dirty and fallen apart much like Hudson's Bay in eaton centre. I walked across a dirty floor to the dingy little basement studio. Depressng and dark with no window and no...anything. You'd think with a space like that, they'd have more than blank walls and maybe a candle or two. I attended two classes where both the teachers seemed to be depressed I was the only student one time and the only student who spoke English another time. I felt bad for these teachers...it was like they were slowly dying. There were hardly any classes on the schedule, and I just didn't go back. Screw my last 18 classes...I'd rather practice at a community centre.
