Without a doubt best Shanghai cuisine in the Bay Area. The Xiao Longbao are especially to be recommended, Chef Cai has a secret filling that is memorable.

Good old fashioned fish house, right off 101 as you are coming up from Silicon Valley. I use it as an easy place to have a meeting or a drink with someone just passing through or headed to SFO.

So separate from the location, the food was good. Oysters excellent and is a classic.

Great traditional south Indian cuisine in a very "authentic" setting. The full selection of Dosas, Vata, Iddly, with a good sambar and a pretty good coco chutney. Actually the chutney could have been better.

I can still remember when the restaurant was half the size and you could sit at the bar and have the best pasta on the planet and a glass of red wine.

Some of the neighborhood feel may have disappeared, but the food is still the best...
