I have been a resident of White Plains for almost a decade now, and I have yet to step foot into a restaurant as spectacular as Antipasti. Last weekend a few of my girlfriends and I decided to follow up on the hype from our office (everyone’s talking about this place)! When we got there the bar was hopping so we decided to grab a table on the patio for cocktails. My first recommendation: get the Mojito! (I haven’t had a good Mojito in a restaurant in a while, but someone obviously trained these bartenders very well)! When we got into the dining room for dinner my breath was taken away by the décor. To sum it up in one word- bellissimo! We decided to share some antipasti (of course)…crispy zucchini, eggplant rollatini and oven roasted tomatoes, all were equally amazing. I recommend that everyone indulge in this “family style” delight. The hardest part is choosing which tid-bits to order when everything looks so tempting! For dinner I had the Veal Osso Bucco. It was prepared to perfection, so tender I didn’t even need to use my knife. All of our dinners were plated beautifully, like edible works of art. My only regret is that we didn’t save much room for dessert. The girls and I split a chocolate hazelnut concoction for dessert, and as I anticipated, it was delicious. In addition to our meals, the service was as good as the food. I can’t wait to return so that I may enjoy more of Antipasti’s extensive menu. My last recommendation for those of you thinking about venturing out to this outstanding restaurant…save room for dessert!
