i can't imagine how hard it can be to take care of something so delicate as a butterfly, but they are doing a great job. so beautiful!!!
this was definitely a great exhibit. get close to them without feeling in danger. oooh, some of them watch you, but it's very interesting. my kids, especially my son, really were fascinated and i felt gratified that i was teaching them how to identify the ones that they should avoid and vice versa. a great concept and so many in one place...i've never seen before.
We take our kids here as often as we can (helps that we are members). There is always something new to see. We're looking forward to the dinosaur exhibit that should be there in a few weeks. We took the kids last year and they LOVED it. There was even a dinosaur that spit water...the same kind of dinosaur they had in Jurassic Park, you may remember. Anyway, check out their website to see what's going on.
