Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs the movie in 3-D was so awesome! It was very funny and also made me a little hungry because of all the tasty foods in the movie. Foods that I liked were the Jell-O castle, the spaghetti tornado, and the snow that was replaced with ice cream!:D
It tells the story of how Flint invented a machine that changes water into food. The people end up ordering too many things, the machine creates the food in much larger portions, and so Flint needs to stop the machine⦠The end was very sweet, but of course funny at the same time.
I really recommend this movie to people that like cartoons, comedy, or both.
They are so legendary! Just got back, amazing! Brought back lots of memories.
My kids have been wanting to watch this 3D movie ever since the super ball ads, so I was pretty surprised to see lots of empty seats when I took my kids and their friends to the matinee.
The 3D effect is superbly done. I think I never saw anything this great in 3D. Lots of times you can't help reach out. All the characters really came alive and well developed. The most funny character is BOB the gelatinous blob. Susan is lovely barbie-figured and has great hair. Stephen Colbert's President Hathaway is hilarious. Plenty of jokes through out the movie, but the storyline itself is a bit old.
Overall, the 3D effect itself is worth seeing. We enjoyed this movie a lot.
I was never a robot fan, I like sci-fi movies only if there is no robots in them. I watched some trailers in the TV, and was not impressed. But now I am glad my kids dragged me into the theatre. Besides a beautiful robot romance, there lies a very deep meaning for kids and adults alike in this movie. As a human being, how our action today will effect the future generation, even the universe, this is a question we should all be asking ourselves.
The animation and music are just beautiful. Wall-e is a very lovable character, my kids simply adore him. I can easily see this as a master piece as 'Lion King' or 'Finding Nemo'. Highly recommended for everyone!
Annabel's review: Wall-e is a hillarious robot and movie. I couldn't believe that the people couldn't actually walk!
I wondered why the people could lose thier bones. The people were also all very fat. I like saying Wall-e alot. Before I even watched Wall-e I was crazy about it.
My kids and I watched it on Friday night with friends. This is the best movie so far this year. The story line is simply, yet meaningful. The action scenes are breath-takingly beautiful. The music and characters are full of authentic chinese elements. This movie reminds me of early Jackie Chan's pieces, which are always funny and full of actions. At the end of movie, you just can't help falling love with Po, the panda.
My kids' review: it's halarious, I can't stop laughing.
So we were debating between Italian and Indian, then we decided to be adventurous and try something new. I was always reluctant to step into an Indian restaurant because of the strong curry smell. But I am glad I finally did. It was delicious!!! We ordered four dishes: one mashed spinach with cheese, two chicken with different curry sauces and one fried rice with chicken and veggie. Sorry I cann't remember any of the names. They all came in small but elegant silver like bowls. And they are all rich and full of taste. Highly recommended!
Jessica Alba did a great job portraiting a blind girl, but not her violin skills. Other than that, it's a usual copycat ghost movie. The whole movie is very dragging with a few jumpy moments. And the storyline is lame. There is nothing new in this movie except that you may re-think about organ transplant after watching this movie. Watch the movie if you are die-hard Jessica Alba fan, otherwise, wait for DVD.
This place is filled with science interaction. My kids can't get enough of it.
They have the best porridge in San Mateo. Their service is great.
We've been there couple times, they offer very good cantonese food.
This place is very well designed with high ceiling ,good music, and unique art decor. The service is really fast, they offer a simple menu, but the burritos are huge and delicous. A great place to hang out.
If you want to taste authentic chinese food, this is the place to go. It's a cozy little place right by the bay trail. Wonderful food, great service.
Texas style food and Texas style decor, better bring a texas style stomach for huge portion of food you get.
Such a beautiful voice and cute face. He is going to be the next superstar tenor.
Her 'Nice Million Bicycles in Beijing' caught my ear, then I found she has a really pure and sincere voice. Very refreshing songs, love them. Great singer.
His first album 'Back to Bedlam' is fabulous, 'no bravery' is the best anti-war song ever. Songs like 'Goodbye my lover' really touch hearts. His second one is another treasure. And he has a great sense of humor. Can't wait to hear more from him.
