Antipasti Restaurant and Wine Bar was a great experience. I was amazed by the appearance and the size of both the Lounge and the Restaurant. Once I entered I was given a warm well come from the lovely hostesses and I felt so much energy from the European Lounge Music that was playing. The wine cork picture frames/collections inspired me to start my own. Although I was confused when seeing a Sushi bar, when I got closer, I saw all the Antipasti and Salumera. The Patron Margarita Rosa Martini was the best tasting and looking Margarita I've ever had. The bartenders had so much spunk and personality, no matter how busy they were. They greeted us with arms wide open and served our party of 8 drinks so fast. After having our cocktails at the lounge, we entered a large and beautiful dining room. It was such a different feeling then the lounge. It was a warm and comfortable feeling that was full of happy people. When we sat, we were greeted by management and introduced to our server who was very knowledgeable with the wine menu and the dinner menu. The wine list was affordable, and I noticed a few exotic wines, but very nice. Our dinner started with a Buratta Mozzarella imported from Italy and assortment of antipasti. We then all ordered individual appetizers, which the presentation was beautiful. I personally had the scallops which I will have again when I go back. It was cooked perfectly. My wife had the cream of corn soap which was so good I wanted to order that as well. We then shared the Insalata Della Casa that was dressed to perfection. The Entrees were beautiful as well. My wife had the Grilled Bronzino with a nice glass of Vermintino Wine. I tried it, and it was really good. I had the Filet Mignon special with a gorgonzola crust that was cooked at the proper temperature and oven roasted rosemary potatoes that were like my grandmas. The desert sampler was so Italian with a modern flare that I had to try, WOW. I eat out allot, and this is my first time at Antipasti. I found my favorite restaurant in White Plains, maybe even Westchester, and it's very affordable. I expected it to be like 42 price wise, NOT. The people that complain are the ones with the coupons. I can’t wait for the weather to break so I can dine in the patio. I definitely recommend it to you. I’m also considering on having my son’s Christening there.
