Enlightened by Southern Charm of DecaturWednesday, July 23, 2008 2:02 PM

We just recently came down from upstate New York for a visit to your beautiful city. We stopped in at a local bar and grill and were thrilled to find the people there to be so friendly and kind to us. The food was great and the employees were so good to us and welcomed us with all the southern charm of the south. We were not expecting to get the honor of hearing a live band, but there they were, Rodeo trucker's. You would think by there name that they were a country band, but they played all type's of music. They were great. They also welcomed everyone and personally introduced themselves to every table in the room, making their way through the room during each break. They talked, danced, played, and entertained the people there like we had just paid money to see them perform. And it cost nothing. The female singer in the band had such an awesume voice and deserves to be heard acroos the world. God Bless them all for what they do. They were a joy to see and to get to know. They also left an impression with us that the south would be a great place to live. That Decatur Alabama would be a great place to come back and visit and we will. Mostly due to the band Rodeo Trucker's and the gtreat people at Our Place Bar and Grill.
