This is a very new facility. There is a big gym, two swimming pools(one indoor one outdoor), fitness center and much more. They offer classes year long to the whole community. You do need to get a membership first.
It's the only dog park in FC, and it is very small. Right by the lagoon. There is one fenced in area for big dog and one for small. I doubt dogs will have much exercise in this park. There is bare room for a good run
Fairly new, huge facility. Have everything in it. A big aquatics area with lap swim area and kids pool. My kids liked playing in the kids pool, it has a big slide, wave effect and small kids slide. There are also fitness center, ice arena and large bastekball court. It's The place to go in Santa Fe for fitness.
We love this zoo, it hosts a large species of animals in a very nice area. Huge lawn besides a fair big lake with waterfall and a small amphitheater. Peacocks wanders around peacefully. Huge huggable trees offers nice shades. We used to spend whole day here.
I had wonderful memories for this place. CSF has a very strong arts program. A small but vibrate college. Fabulous professors.
The plaza is a little park in the heart of downtown SantaFe, surrounded by all kinds of little shops. A great place to rest and relax.
This church is beautiful. It sits in downtown SantaFe, has a 300 years history. The scupltures outside is georgous, and the stained glasses inside the church is very pretty. We went in there through a side door in visiting time. There are few visitors in there, the whole church was very quiet and gave me an overwhelmingly holy feeling. There is a small fountain in the middle. When you see the seats edges thats been smoothed out by generation after generation of people. You have nothing but respect for this place.
This is the only Target there is in SantaFe, I visited frequently when I lived there. It's in the typical Adobe-style building which I love very much. Great Store, still missing it!
Located in southwest SantaFe, SFCC has a beautiful spacious campus. They offer a variety of great classes, and a fabulous daycare for students with families. Long waiting list for the daycare though.
Located in downtown Santa fe. Library in OK size, very nice children's section upstair with a big activity room. Limited parking place though.
This mall is big. They have all the stores, and special parking spaces for family with young kids at front. Very nice! Nice foot court selection too.
A must for every visitor to SF. These structures are beautiful, gives you a feeling of how Greece will be like. And there is a nice lake and meadow where you can sit, relax and watch the swans. And its right beside the bay.
Wow, this Aquatic center is tons of fun. They have three sections: one small pool with nice play structure with slides, water cannons and everything for the little ones; a huge waterslide and current float bigger ones ; and a 6 lanes swimming pool for lap swimming. So everyone can have fun. And the provide life jacket for the little ones too. Great place!
I love Paula Deen, her personality, her show and her recipe. She warms my heart with her 'Georgia cooking'. The dishes in her shows look really delicious. She loves Butter, yep, in today's 'less calory, less fat' world, she is the only one who uses butter, tons of butter in every recipe. That's what makes her so special.
I love watching her '30 minutes meal' show in Food network. She is always so energetic, and her recipe is pretty easy to follow. But its still hard to finish everything in 30 minutes unless you are a pro like her.
My kids love this place. It has a great walking trail, around the hills and right by the bay. Great view of the bay by the Museum. And they have the best playground, a huge castle climb structure. MY kids have tons of fun there.
I don't listen to country music, I give Dixie Chicks 5 stars for the sole reason of Natalie Maines's honesty about her anti-war, anti-bush political stand. You go girl!
Simon Cowell mention him in AI, and I found out this amazingly talented singer. I love his version of 'Halleujah', and many of his songs like 'Everyboday here wants you ' and 'Grace'. His voice is very sincere and powerful. Watching his MTV, I felt really sorry for the loss of this great artist.
I saw him on Opera once, and amazingly he is a licensed pilot for commercial airplace and he has his own boring 737. I never liked him in any movies, but this gains my respect for him.
Great place to practice or just hang out. My kids took couple sessions of ice skating lessons there so that they can go on ice without falling down. The teachers there are very helpful and nice. And its right in the mall, so I can go shopping while they are taking lessons. But at weekend this place is always packed. Young kids just start skating were constantly bumped or knocked down. Avoid that time unless you are sure of your skills.
I love Jackie Chan's ealier HongKong movies like the Police Stories series. The KongFu styles and story lines in these movies are real, funny and original. I would say he was the master. But, don't like any of his movies made in Hollywood. I think its time for him to retire.
This park is beautiful, it sits in the heart of Foster city, and along a big lagoon. There is a outdoor amphitheatre in the park that houses free summer time concerts every year. There is several tennis court, a bocca court, a basketball court and peddle boat renting facility in the park. The only thing missing is a kids playground, thats why I gave it 4.5
We've been having membership for two years now. We love this park. Besides all the great rides, they also have dolphin show , killer whales show, sea lion show , elephant show , tiger shows. I never get tired of watching these shows. They also have great little kids amusement park within, and a new added Tomas town. Cann't wait for this year's season to begin.
This is one spot that I always bring my friends to when they first visit SF. I love the buzzing and humming of tourists' noises there. Besides the zillions of sealions, you can also get a view of the city view and Alcatraz. And be sure to taste the fresh crab and sour bread chowder clem soup. They are delicious.
I would give him zero star if the website allows. Worst person, worst president. Biggest liar and a war criminal. He is a bigger threat to the world than all the other terrorists combined. The good news is that he will be gone in several month, but look at the mess he is going to leave for Amercian people and the whole world. I belong to no parties, and I have no rights to vote now. I never dislike a stranger more than this person.
She is the best woman comedian out there. I love watching her talk shows. Her jokes are so funny and natrual. I always laugh with tears. She was great in hosting Oscar too. Never been to her standup shows, looking forward to it if she comes to bay area some day.
He is the best. Whenever the rerun is on, I will still watch the show over and over again, and still got laughes out of it. Wish he can come up with a new show.
I never knew him was so many other things besides a great kids' book author and poet. Ever since My daughter's teacher introduced his work in class, she fell in love with Shel Silverstain, enjoys reading his poems, and is determined to collect all his books. It not just the poem, the illustration in his book is great too. Very classic and inspiring!
For some reason, I never like Tom Cruise. He showed his best in Born on the Fourth of July, after that all he performs is Tom Cruise. Most over-rated, over-paid actor in Hollywood. But Suri is surely an angle. They seemms to spoil this girl a lot. Hopefully she will not turn into another Parise Hilton.
I went there last night for the Disney on Ice show. This stadium is great. It's right beside highway 880, very easy to exit after show. Ten years after renovation, this arena looks very new and modern. The light, sound is in super quality. I especially like the bar setting area at the statium section entrance. Comfortable, spacious seating.
My kids used to love this park when we lived in Hayward. It's like a small fair ground in the middle of city. On the weekend, this park offers pet zoo with goats, roosters and such; pony ride, merry-go-around, jumping house, even a train ride. Tons of fun for the kids. The play structures are of three difficulty levels, so kids of all ages can enjoy. Lots of parking spaces in the back. A+ park!
Shoreline Park is actually includes two other parks: Ryder Park and Seal Point Park. Its the best place to spend some relaxing time at weekend. Its right beside a long bay trail from where you can take the view of the whole bay. In good weather you can see SF, oakland, hayward. My kids love the play structures in Rydar Park, there is a huge spider web climb structure that I have yet to find at anywhere else. And huge picnic area. It can get pretty windy sometime.
I love Beef noodle soup there, lots of beef and tendon with super delicious soup. And the portion is very generous for the price, which runs 5ish for small bowl and 6ish for large bowl. But the small bowl is huge. This place is usually packed at lunch time, there is always lines waiting to be seated. But their service is very fast, so don't need to wait long. Great little restaurant.
First time I heard of Luther Vandross song was in the car radio. I just lost my grandmother not long ago, and his 'Dance with My father' literally made me bawling in the car. I had to pull over to calm down. He got this silky yet sad voice that touches the most tender part of heart. But after couple days I heard the news of his sudden death. What a loss! The world lost another great artist. RIP
No matter how bad his personal life be, I still love his songs. Even my 6 yr old son love his beat.
She has the most amazing voice, I started listening to her songs when I was in college, and have loved her ever since. She has the most pure yet powerful voice. I loved all her hits, and still listening to it sometimes. Her love for her son is also very touching. There is not many singers will station in one city so that can always be at her son's side.
I just discovered Queen after I watched one of 'American Idol' contestant sang 'bohemia rhapsody '. Wow, what a great song. And thanks to UTube, I was able to see all the precious video clips of Queen's live concert in the 80s. I would say I am totally blown away by his performance, his vocal ability and his life story. What a loss! RIP
Now it's idol season again, time to watch Simon spitting out more brutal words about those contestants. Brutal but always the truth. Love his honesty. He is actually more lenient this time than past seasons, which makes it less fun. I senses that those contestants felt better when they got Simon's praise than the other two judges.
My kids' chinese school just rented this place for their Chinese New Year celebration Performance. It is a great little theatre. But they have s tiny parking place. We have to park in street two or three blocks away. But their seat is very comfortable, the Stage is of decent size, and good stereo. I would say it can seats more than couple hundreds' audience. But above all, the kids did an incredible job on their performance.
This mall is small, but have lots of stores and parking place. It has Macys, JcPenny's, Sears, Mervyns' and Olive Garden, RiteAid and Albertson. (Hillsdale have no JCpenny, which is very disappointing). Since I usually shop within 15 minutes' local drive, I frequent there often when I lived in Hayward. Loved it, always very clean and have places to park (except Christmas time).
This Sizzler sits in a small plaza. In the same place with ToyRUs, ChuckeCheese and some other stores. So we frequent it often when we go there shopping. They have great salad bar, with fresh salad, fruit and Best Clam Chowder. I ususally just order Salad Bar, my husband likes to order a steak combo. The price is very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food.
This is a really nice and modern library. Very new and spacious, epecially the kids' section. I wouldn't say they have the most complete selection of books, but they have nice selection of minor language books, like Japanese, chinese, russian and Indian books. They offer kids' reading program daily, and has special events all the time. Love it.
Love his music and his talent. He is super hot! Now Leehom started to advance into movie industry. He starred in Lee An 's new movie 'Lust, caution', and did an incredible job. Wonder when he will come to Bay area again, will definitely go to his concert.
How come all the Brits' bands are so great. I really like this band. Chris has great talent, gwyneth paltrow and him made a cute couple. But name your daughter Apple? For his talent, I would expect better than that. Expecting their next album.
This center sits in the heart of Foster City, in the beautiful Leo J. Ryan Park. With lots of parking places. There are lots of facilities in the center; tennis court, skater court, bocce court and basketball court. They offer lots of great classes too. We love this place. You can rent boat in weekend too.
