This is a good starbucks to grab some coffee before class because its never really busy. Expect to get your coffee and be out in less than 5 mintues. The staff is extremely nice and the service is quick!

This theater is ok - its a little old, but the seating is nice. They do not offer student discounts, so with ticket prices these days, expect to pay about $10.

I was here on a Friday night and absolutely loved it! Their food is delicious and not expensice - not the best mexican food in Tucson, but good. What sold me though is that on Friday and Saturday night after 10om, the restaurant turns into a bar that has salsa dancing. You have your beginners and your experts, who are always willing to dance and teach the beginners. During the evening they even have a $5 lesson for those who do not know how to salsa. The bar also has great drink specials - check it out!

1702 is in a great location because its right next to the university. Its walking distance for the students living on campus and for those walking from classes. Their pizza is ok but they have a great selection for beer- some people say the best in town! They typically have 20 beers on tap from the West Coast and Colorado. You can get regular cheese pizza or add whatever toppings they also have wings, salads and soups.
The food is excellent, reasonably priced & the staff is extremely friendly! Their sandwiches are the best (better than all those chain sandwich restaurants in Tucson). You will not be disappointed!

4th avenue is the spot to check out when visiting Tucson or a local/college student. There is always something going on on 4th ave - annual festivals and fairs, a lot of shopping from clothing to jewelery and restaurants. Great waves specializes in wavy/curly hair. I have curly hair and it can be hard to find someone who knows how to properly cut curly hair. This place has great stylist who know how to cut hair of all kinds - straight, wavy, curly and springy.
My friends get her hair done here and it always looks great. I still have yet to check it out, but from what she says the people are nice, take their time and understand the style of hair!
This movie has had so much hype the past couple of weeks and after seeing it I can see why. I never read the book(s) but my friends I saw it with did and they loved it as well as me. You do not have to read the book to actually understand the movie, but after seeing it I want to read the book! This is definitely a chick flick so gather a bunch of girl firends and check it out!

Ghini's is a great place for a delicious French breakfast or lunch - actually prepared by a French chef. The prices are reasonable especially for the quality of food thats served. Make sure that you try some of their pastries because they offer an assortment of cookies, croissants and cakes that look like they just came from French pastry shop.
Gavi's is the best italian food that I have ever had. I went to the restaurant about 2 weeks after I visited Milan, Italy and the food is authentic. They carry the same traditional dishes and use the same authentic italian spices that you would find in Italy. The dishes are large, so expect to take some food back home with you!
Alil Baba is a market that sells your traditional middle eastern food, spices and ingredients. You can also go their to dine. Their prices are affordable and the food is delicious!

I really enjoyed this movie. Every actor's performance was amazing and fit the character. The movie is slow at some parts, but the situation Angelina Jolies character is faced with is scary and still happens today despite technology. Being that this is a Clint Eastwood film, you know its amazing.

Cup Cafe located in downtown Tucson, has great food. I am starting to focus more on eating organic foods and this restaurant only uses organic ingredients. Their salads are the best!!!

This is a neat little place on University - serving all natural, organic foods sets it different from the rest of the places on University. It also is a "1 stop shop" upscale connivence center. Not only can u grab a healthy lunch or snack, but you can grab magazines, cereal, coffee, candy, alcohol, Band-Aids etc. The foods and alcohol are a little pricey.

I saw The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants when I was younger and I loved it. Therefore, I was happy to hear that they were coming out with a sequel. It was amazing and did not come under the sequel curse. I actually saw the second one with my mother and we both enjoyed it. I'd recommend seeing it with family or some of your best girlfriends.

When I was at the Tucson mall and hungry I checked out Red Robin. I experienced a lot of noise and the service was not that great. The waiters were nice but the food took a long time. What made it worse was that the food wasn't even that great. The food court food is ALOT better!

I went to Lids to buy my brother a hat for his birthday and let me tell you...I was in there for an hour because I couldn't decided on the thousands of hats they carry. They have hats for every sports team in every color you can think of. If you can't find clothes, you can usually find something for your house - they have a huge section just devoted to housing.

Its a very colorful store, so expect to find 1 style in every color - usually making it difficult to decide on which color looks best on you :) . I have found some cute day/night dresses and day time shirts. The only thing that I dont like about this store is that they stare you down like a hawk, assuming right when you walk in you are a "criminal." Also you have to give them your bags/purse/backpack when your in the store, which can be a hassle.

The movie is unrealistic. How could 1 vote possibly determine who will win presidency? Kevin Costner was good, but I really think he downgraded from his past roles. I recommend not seeing it - not worth the $$$.

I have been enjoying Bluepoint since been attending the University of Arizona. The atmosphere is great with gorgeous views of Tucson (go for dinner and you'll see a beautiful sunset). My parents and I have tried many of the menu items and we are never disappointed. The crab cakes and oysters on the half shell are great.

The Rec Center (aka the gym) has a lot of equipment which is fairly new and up to date. It has a built in track and large olympic size pool - great for summertime laps. It usually gets busy in the later part of the day, so be prepared to wait for an elliptical machine or treadmill. They offer a large amount of great classes for a semester price of $75 for unlimited classes. The Rec Center is also under expansion for an even larger and newer up to date gym!!!

This store has a large assortment of the brand name Nike UofA Memorabilia- more than you'll find at the local UA Bookstore. You can also find coupons in the Daily Wildcat (UofA newspaper) which definitely comes in handy if your laying low on those benjamins...
I always find things that I like at Divas. Most of the clothing is reasonably priced and generally unique = you wont find their pieces at your normal mall store. Although, there are some things that are a bit pricy but I did find a great dress for my best friends graduation here last year, which I got complimented on for the entire evening!!!
This is the place to shop if looking for a basic plain tee in any ordinary or bright outrageous color. If you are a fanatic for spandex aka leggings, buy them here. They are comfortable, great material and you can get your basic black to the crazy metallic gold.

I have never been disappointed with any of Steve Carell's movies and this one was definitely not a disappointment. Its hilarious!!! Both Carell and Hathaway do an awesome job with their characters. This is a must see summer flick.

They have pretty much every store: Hollister, Forever 21, Dillard's, Macy's, Bath & Body Works, Mervyn's, Foot Locker, Champs, Toni & Guy etc. The food court offers a large variety of different foods...there is Mexican, Japanese, Italian, American and even South American.
1 of the newest movie theaters in Tucson - for a mall movie theater, the showing rooms are a nice size and the chairs are comfortable. You do not feel cramped and better yet, going to a movie after a long day of shopping is extra relaxing :)!!!!
This mall was re-modeled a couple of years ago with great new restaurants like Bamboo Club and great new stores like Forever21, The Gap, Macy's, Dillard's, Aldo, Finish Line etc. There is a movie theater inside and around the mall there is more outside shopping.
Zona 78 has a healthy spin on Italian food - using Organic healthy products - their dishes have unique tastes. Their prices aren't bad, but their happy hour is a steal for half-off appetizers and drink specials. This is a great restaurant to take the family, celebrate a special event or begin a romantic evening.
The food is cheap and the portions are HUGE! Oreganos is known for everything to be BIG. Their menus are a ridiculously large size, their drink cups are huge and their plates are big enough to share with 1, 2, or 3 people. I'd recommend their Pablo Picasso salad or Chicken Alfredo. Also you have to try their thin crusted unique pizzas!!!
Level is a cool lounge bar with great Wednesday night drink specials and great music. Their regular DJs are good and play a variety of music from hip-hop to dance to 80's + 90's classics. This is definitely the place to be on Wednesday and whenever there is a celebrity DJ in town!!!
Mike Meyer's movies have been hysterical classics - Austin Powers, Shreck, Wayne's World - but The Love Guru is not one of them Its got a few funny lines but the plot of the movie is just bad. Dont waste your precious 88 minutes or money on this one.
This movie was awesome compared to the last Hulk movie in 2003. The graphics are good and the plot of the movie is good and intriguing. I'd say one of the best superhero movies out there...even better than Iron Man.

There is a bar located inside the restaurant and an outside bar in the back. It can be a low-key place 1 night and the next it can be packed, shoulder-to-shoulder.

The rooms are spacious and nice and the employees are always attentive and greeting you. I grew up in NY when Dunkin' Donuts was on almost every street corner...before Starbucks evolved. I've always loved Dunkin' Donuts coffee, especially their Iced Coffee which is a lot better than Starbucks iced drinks. I would recommend getting the French Vanilla Ice Coffee with one of their delicious donuts!!!

Not only is this restaurant known for its authentic tastes but who it attracts. You never know which famous person you will see when eating at Mi Nidito. When I was there I saw Julio and Enrique Iglesias while enjoying a great chicken quesadilla, which I would recommend as well as their guacamole :)
This movie is incredibly funny and enjoyable for all ages. Jack Black is creative and hilarious as a panda...he seems to have no restrictions on what he can become. I would recommend this movie to anyone for any occasion.

I go so much that the owner of the restaurant has remembered my order; therefore right when I sit down I have my usual within 5 minutes. O'Malleys is the place to be in Tucson on Thursday - with 2 for 1 drink specials and a live band in the back, its a great place to hang out with friends. The place is big enough to choose if you want to listen to music in the back, play pool in the front or relax outside on the porch.

Ra is the place to be on Sundays to start off the new week with their hsppy hour specials which consist of various drinks and sushi items. Its a great place to enjoy Saki with your friends.
Having seen all the Indiana Jones moves, I was excited that they were adding another one to the series. Shia Labeouf and Harrison Ford performed well, demonstrating that Ford aka Indiana Jones can never be too old for those extravagant journeys.
At first, I was a little skeptical about this movie because it was a TV show made into a movie, but I was wrong. This was never a dull moment - extremely funny!!! The movie began exactly where the characters ended off and then some. Obviously, this is a girls night out movie, but tagging along the boyfriends wouldn't be a bad thing...its a movie any guy would enjoy as well as anyone at any age!
The restaurants food is authentic and delicious! The atmosphere is friendly and very family oriented. Their known for their margaritas, which are only $3 during their happy hour. Each time I've been to this restaurant I have always ordered something different and never been dissatisfied.
