I was absolutly amazed with the level of quality in fine dining outside of the New York City market...as soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with friendly smiles by the host staff that included a maitre'D who was so nice and made me and my wife feel like we had known him for years! He took us on a quick tour of the restaurant, which included a wonderful antipasto bar with cheese and meats from regions high and low of the italian peninsula. We arrived just in time for happy hour and I was surprised to see such a full crowd at the bar area for a wednesday night. We ate free pizza and pannini bites while we drank wine, then went to the dining room to eat dinner...the food was so good, I came home and googled the chef (Rick Laakonen) and saw he was a very well established chef with international experiance and flavor...def. making this a stop for happy hour after work at least once a week...and def try the snapper...the sauce was to die for!
